Foaming agent feeder DSP 240
The foaming agent feeders are intended for sucking the foaming agent
and mixing it with water. They are applied mainly in stationary
extinguishing installations serving for fire protection (for fuel
bases, das bases, etc.) and in the water/foam systems of the
fire-fighting vehicles of fire brigades. The feeders are manufactured
in accordance with the Polish standard PN-87/M-51156.

The basic component of the feeder is the under-pressure mixing chamber, to which, on one side, there is mounted the supply nozzle and, on the other side, there is mounted the diffuser. From below, there is located the ball valve that cuts off/controls the amount of the foaming agent being drawn. The nozzle and the diffuser of the feeder are provided with connection flanges as per the Polish standard PN-85/H-74306. In dependence on the maximum amount of the foaming (protein) agent drawn, in dm³/min, to obtain the solution concentration of 7 ± 0,5 % at the rated water flow intensity in the forcing system of the pump, amounting to 1600 and, two sizes of the feeders are manufactured
