Fan WO 14
In extinguishing/rescue actions, for pushing out the combustion
products from the facility under fire, in order to decrease
temperature and smoke concentration and to increase the efficiency
and safety of the fireman work. It may be applied also for
ventilation of public facility rooms in cases that the CO2 permanent
extinguishing installation is activated or harmful gases appear in
the room. In addition, the fan may be used for filling rescue jumping
cushions with air.

The fan shaft is supported in two antifriction bearings. The rotating set (shaft & impeller) is located centrally within the fan frame. The driving motion is transmitted to the impeller from the combustion engine of 6 HP, four-stroke type, single-cylinder design, manufactured by the „BRIGGS & STRATTON” company, of manual start-up, with a belt transmission of the ratio 1:1. The whole unit is mounted in a metal frame provided with travelling wheels enabling free movement.
