The pump of type „Pelikan” is a single-stage impeller pump of a vertical axis. The pump body is made In a form of a helix with the suction inlet of Ø 70 and with a radial forcing outlet terminated with a cap of Ø 75. The pump impeller is semi open, fixed via a special-purpose sleeve on the driving engine shaft. The pump body and the impeller are made of the AK 9 alloy. The pump complete with the engine is secured with brackets to a float made of PWS (foamed polystyrene layered plates) and filled inside with hard PU foam. In its upper part, the float is provided with a special-purpose catch intended for easy moving of the pump. In the pump, the engine manufactured by the BRIGGS&STRATTON company is applied (made in the USA), with a manual start (with ReadyStart starting system), single-cylinder type, four stroke, cooled with air, of the power output 6,5 KM (4,81 kW), model 120000. The fuel tank of capacity 2,1 dm³ (lead-free ethyl gasoline) is enough for 1,1 h of operation.
