In the pump of type „LEDA” there was applied single-stage impeller , mono-block pump of a vertical axis. The pump body is made In a form of a helix with the suction inlet of Ø 80 and with a radial forcing outlet terminated with a cap of Ø 75 for a suction hose of Ø 75. The pump impeller is semi open, provided with unloading brackets, fixed via a special-purpose sleeve on the driving engine shaft. The pump body and the impeller are made of the AK 9 alloy. The pump complete with the engine is secured with brackets to a float made of PWS (foamed polystyrene layered plates) and filled inside with hard PU foam. In its upper part, the float is provided with a special-purpose catch intended for easy moving of the pump. In the pump, the engine manufactured by the BRIGGS&STRATTON company is applied (made in the USA), with a manual start, single-cylinder type, four stroke, cooled with air, of the power output 11,5 KM (8,46 kW). Max. torque: 27,5 Nm. The fuel tank of capacity 2,7 dm³ (lead-free ethyl gasoline) is enough for 45 minutes of operation.
